Ellen Lupton- "Why No One Wants To Read Your Blog"

Ellen Lupton is known for her legacy teaching at Maryland Institute College of Art and her series of books and blogs on DIY culture, typography, and design.

Her sense of humor and tell-it-like-it-is writing and design strikes a cord with anyone who can read, write, and think critically about the managed world around us. Years ago, I saw her speak at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Her slide show and talk was an affirmation to my design obsessed nit-picking of street signs, stupid ironic tee-shirts, newspaper pages, coffee cups, roadsigns, and billboards.

This is another reminder to think before you blabber and write. Sometimes, I think I need the reminder the most.

Thank you for the following pdf.
